Members of the community got together tonight to bake cookies in the Common House for the services tomorrow. I understand that chocolate chip cookies were Fitz's favorite, and we loved being involved -- hearing the children (and adults!) laugh as we spilled eggs, stirred the dough with all our might, and filled the kitchen with the warm smell of baking goodness.Heather

Thanks, Heather, for setting up this blog. You've done a great job. I wish I could have been here to help with all that cookie baking. I bet it smelled delicious! Fitz was never shy about getting in on the desserts. It was just one of the ways he enjoyed a warm, full and happy life.
